terms & conditions

Last updated: October 25, 2025

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to lumimediagroup.com (the “Site”) and our services. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Services & scope

We create wedding, event, and brand films and related deliverables. Specific scope, fees, timelines, and rights are defined in your proposal/statement of work (SOW) or invoice.

Booking, deposits, rescheduling

  • Booking: A signed SOW/quote and a non-refundable deposit (retainer) secure your date.

  • Balance: Due as stated in your SOW (often before final delivery).

  • Rescheduling: Subject to availability and may require a reschedule fee.

  • Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. Additional cancellation terms are in your SOW.

On-site production

Client will secure venue access, filming permissions, schedules, and any required releases. We may refuse or stop work where safety, legality, or policy concerns exist.

Weather, force majeure, and contingencies

We aren’t liable for delays or inability to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, illness, travel disruptions, government orders). We’ll make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternatives.

Drone & location compliance

Aerial work depends on legal permissions, airspace rules, and weather. We’ll advise on feasibility and permitting; if permits are denied or unsafe, alternatives are used.

Deliverables, revisions & turnaround

Deliverables and timelines are defined in your SOW (e.g., highlights, ceremony films, recaps, reels). Unless stated otherwise, packages include one round of reasonable revisions for the primary edit. Excess revisions or change requests outside scope may incur additional fees and extend timelines.

Payment terms, late fees & rush

Payments are due per SOW/invoice terms. Late balances may accrue fees or pause work. Rush services (e.g., <72h) are billed at published rush rates.

Licenses & usage

  • Private clients (weddings/celebrations): You receive a personal, non-commercial license to download, display, and share your film(s). Commercial use requires written permission.

  • Business/brand clients: License scope (territory, term, media, paid ads, etc.) is defined in the SOW.

  • Music: Licensed for the agreed use/platforms. Re-licensing for additional platforms may require fees.

Portfolio & promotional use

We may display non-private work for our portfolio, social media, and marketing unless your SOW specifies otherwise (e.g., NDA/private gallery). We honor agreed restrictions.

Client materials & releases

You warrant you have rights/permissions to provide any materials (logos, music, scripts) and to film participants at your event. You’ll secure any necessary consents and releases not handled by us.

Prohibited uses (Site)

Do not misuse the Site (scraping, reverse engineering, disrupting service, unauthorized access, or infringing content).

Intellectual property (Site & content)

All Site content, branding, text, images, video, and code are owned by or licensed to us and protected by law. Except as permitted by your license/SOW, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the applicable services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site/services, or your violation of law/third-party rights.

Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of laws. Venue and jurisdiction lie in the courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. (If you prefer arbitration/class-action waiver, tell me and I’ll add a compliant clause.)

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
